As a Principal at ThoughtWorks Studios, I focus on helping organizations deliver valuable, high-quality software frequently and reliably through implementing effective engineering practices. I am the co-author of the Jolt Award-winning Continuous Delivery, published in Martin Fowler’s Signature Series (Addison Wesley, 2010).
I have worked with a variety of platforms and technologies, consulting for non-profits, telecoms, financial services, and online retail companies. Prior to ThoughtWorks I was a Director at Urban Guru and a senior developer at Whatsonwhen.
I earned a bachelor’s in Physics and Philosophy from Balliol College, Oxford University and a master’s in Ethnomusicology from the School of Oriental and African Studies, London University.
